This room, made for an imaginary young urban couple who loves to entertain in their chic, sophisticated loft, was in fact a vignette developed in the Baker, Knapp & Tubbs Showroom at the Michigan Design Center in Troy, Michigan. It was one particular of twelve vignettes produced for a March Madness event referred to as “Design 2 Methods.” This space was voted by the public as “The Area of My Dreams” and was, subsequently, written up in an report by Susan Pollack in the “Homestyle” Section of the Detroit News.
